Thank you for your informative page on Mixtec people , culture and language. I met a Mixtec mother and children while on a walk in the neighborhood and wanted to learn more about this nation. My children were impressed that the kids knew Mixtec and Spanish as well as some English. The mom was very friendly as described in the article. This chance meeting made my 11 y.o. Daughter interested in learning Choctaw , her ancestral language on her father's side. I think it is remarkable hat the Mixtec nation is maintaining their identity even through migration. Kudos to the Mixtec people and to you for educating the public about this indigenous group living along side us.
